Sicco Behrens

Sicco Behrens graduated as a MSc in industrial engineering and management in 1997 at the University of Twente the Netherlands. That same year he started with Bookings UK and moved to London in 1998 in order to recruit British hotels to join Bookings. After having recruited sufficient hotels Sicco returned to Amsterdam and soon opened more countries and thus hotels on the Bookings website. In 2000 Sicco merged with Bookings.nl to create what’s now known as Booking.com. In 2001 Sicco left Booking.com with 50 countries operational. In 2003 Sicco sold his shares and participated in multiple start ups.

Today Sicco owns Apartment Amsterdam BV, Your Amsterdam Housing BV and he’s co-founder of ASAPNL. In 2014 Daniel Hodgman and Sicco founded Serviced-Apartment.com where corporate travellers can book temporary accommodation world wide. By 2016 Serviced-Apartment.com should be operational in 50 countries.

Sicco speaks five languages and is a keen skier. He’s married and has two daughters

Daniel Hodgman

Daniel Hodgman originates from the UK and has been a visionary property supply chain professional for over 20 years specialising in developing housing networks within the different market segments of real estate for investors and serviced apartment agencies. Having lived and worked overseas in the Middle East, Asia, UK & Europe for over 10 years, he settled in the Netherlands with his family in 2014. It was during this time that he had the idea to create a serviced apartment agency that focused on the housing needs for large corporate organizations that wanted turnkey serviced apartment & corporate housing solutions outside of the typical hotel room bookings that frequent the business travel industry. A chance encounter with Sicco and sharing of mutual ideas and experience and serviced-apartment.com was born.
As the managing director of the business, Daniel focuses primarily on developing new corporate accounts and creating serviced apartment programmes for new clients and their business travellers.
